I was perpetually slamming my interior garage door and pissing everyone off.
I installed a door closer hydraulic thing and it made all the difference. It was $39, took 10 minutes to mount, and now I can just walk out knowing the door won’t slam. Bonus that it closes the door automatically as well.

Whenever you change an outlet or light in your house and you play the game of which circuit breaker, after finding the correct one LABEL it inside the electrical panel. I have been changing outlets and lights in my house and making sure the electrical panel is properly marked. Absolutely wild that the panel doesn’t have every room/outlet/light marked in it.

Installed motion sensor light switch for the light above the kitchen sink lol. I hate walking to the sink to wash a cup or bowl and have to turn on the switch. Now it just turns on when I walk near it. Super cool and useful

I have black locks that are hard to see in the dark, so I could never tell if they were locked or not before I went to bed, so I had to turn the lights on to see them. I put a small piece of white tape on the latch and now I can see them in the dark.
